Ishant Vijay Sharma is known as Ishant Sharma in International Cricket. He is an Indian International Cricketer who represents India in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. He was recognized as a bowler in International Cricket. In July 2006 Ishan Sharma was called to join the Indian Cricket Team for the South Africa tour at the age of 18. In his Under-19 days, for the reason of his height, he was nicknamed Lambu. Ishant became the 5th-youngest player to take hundred Test wickets in 2011 and he became the 5th quickest Indian player to take a hundred wickets in ODI. He also plays for Delhi in domestic Cricket.

He is one of the fastest bowlers at present in International Cricket and having bowled in excess of  150 km/h several times in international cricket as well as the IPL. The government of India has awarded him the Arjuna Award to recognize his outstanding achievement in cricket in 2020. In February 2021, he took a 300 wicket in Test Cricket, and during the same series, after Kapil Dev, he became only the second Indian fast bowler to play 100 Tests.

The Early Life of Ishant Sharma:

Ishant was born on 2 September 1988 (age 32)in Delhi, India to a brahmin family. His father’s name is Vijay Sharma and Grisha Sharma is his mother. He has one elder sister who is Eva. He studied up to the 10th standard in Ganga International School, Delhi. Due to focusing on cricket properly, he left his studies.
