The Early Life of Ravichandran Ashwin:
He was born on 17 September 1986 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India to a Tamil Hindu family. He lives in West Mambalam, Chennai. His father Ravichandran was a former club-level cricketer as a fast bowler and Citra is his mother. Ashwin studied at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan and St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School. He completed his B.Tech degree in Information Technology from SSN College of Engineering. According to Ashwin, coaches C. K. Vijay and Chandra at St Bede’s had played a significant role in his career, where he had changed his bowling style and technique from medium pace to off-spin.
