Rohit Gurunath Sharma generally known as Rohit Sharma is an Indian international cricketer that represents India in International cricket. Rohit Sharma also plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket and Mumbai Indians as a captain in the Indian Premier League. Generally, Rohit plays as a right-handed opening batsman, he is regarded as one of the best modern batsmen in the world. He is an episodic right-arm off-break bowler. He is the present vice-captain of the Indian National Cricket team in limited-overs formats. He is also famous as another name which is “Hit Man”.He joined the Indian National Cricket team in 2007.
Except for cricket, Rohit is an active supporter of animal welfare campaigns. He is also an official Rhino Ambassador of WWF-India. He has worked with PETA in its o[eration to take up awareness of the plight of dossing cats and dogs in India.
The Early Life Of Rohit Sharma:
He was born on 30 April 1987 in the Bansod area, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. His father, Gurunath Sharma, served as a caretaker of a transport firm storehouse, and his mother, Purnima Sharma, is from Visakhapatnam, India. Rohit was raised by his grand siblings and uncles in Borivali due to his father’s low income. Vishal Sharma is a younger brother HIT MAN.
In 1999, Rohit joined a cricket camp with his uncle’s money. His Cricket mentor Dinesh Lad, at the camp, asked him to change his institute to Swami Vivekanand International School, where Rohit was the coach and the facilities of cricket were better than Rohit’s old school. Rohit recollects, “I said to him I couldn’t provide it, but he got me a scholarship. Therefore, for 4 years I didn’t pay a money, and did well in my cricket”.At first, Rohit began as an off-spinner who could bat a bit before Dinesh Lad observed his batting quality and encouraged him from 8 no. to open the innings.
