Sanju Viswanath Samson is the full name of Sanju Samson is an Indian international cricketer who plays for India in International cricket and Kerala in domestic cricket. He also captains Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. His playing role in the Indian Team is as a wicketkeeper-batsman. For the 2014 U-19 Cricket World Cup and 2013 ACC U-19 Asia Cup, he was the vice-captain of the Indian Under-19 team.

Sanju Samson was considered to the Indian team for the limited-overs matches for the tour of England in 2014. On July 19, 2015, the advent in Twenty20 International against Zimbabwe at Harare. Sanju made an undefeated 212 in the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy in the 6th example when an Indian made a double-hundred in List A cricket which is also the 2nd-speedy double ton in List A cricket. He played his One Day International match on 23 July 2021 against Sri Lanka.

Sanju Samson was born on 11 November 1994 in Pulluvila,near Vizhinjam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. His father, Samson Viswanath was a former police constable at Delhi Police, and his mother, Ligy is a home maker. His father was also a former football player and coach who work for Delhi in Santhosh Trophy. Sanju has an elder brother who is Saly Samson has represented Kerala in Junior cricket.

Sanju trained under coach Yashpal at the academy in DL DAV Model School, Shalimar Bagh, and studied at Rosary Senior Secondary School, Delhi.
