Shardul Narendra Thakur is generally known as Shardul Thakur in International Cricket. He is an Indian international cricket player. His playing role is a bowling all-rounder, his batting and bowling styles are right-handed bat and right-arm medium-fast. Shardul plays 1st-class cricket for Mumbai.
In 2016, he was added to India’s 16-man squad for India’s Test tour against West Indies, but he did not play. He played his One Day International match on 31 August 2017 for India with Sri Lanka and the Twenty20 International match for India against South Africa on 21 February 2018. In May 2018, he was considered in India’s Test team for the one-off Test against Afghanistan in June 2018 but did not play. In January 2021, he made his 1st test fifty, a valuable one, in the 1st innings of the 4th test match at Brisbane against Australia in 2020/2021 India Tour of Australia.

Shardul Thakur was born on 16 October 1991 in Palghar, Maharashtra, India. His father’s name is Narendra Thakur and Hansa Thakur is his mother and he has an elder sister. He completed his schooling at Ananad Asram Convent High School and Swami Vivekananda International School. He completed his graduation from the University of Mumbai in 2012.
