The Oman national cricket team represents the country of Oman in International Cricket and it is directed by the Oman Cricket Board. In 2000 Oman became an Affiliate Member of the International Cricket Council and get Associate status in 2014. Oman’s first competitive match came at the 2002 ACC Trophy. Oman Cricket was established in 1979 through Mr. Kanaksi G. Khimji as President and another founder member. Oman is presently the 38th associate member of the ICC and has had International Status in Twenty20 since 2015-2017. Zeeshan Maqsood is the current captain and Duleep Mendis is the current Coach of the Team.
