The United Arab Emirates national cricket team represents the country in international cricket. This team is directed by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB), in 1989 the team became an Affiliate Member of the ICC and also Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC).In 1892 cricket was established in UAE by the British Army.UAE won the ICC Trophy in 1994, and that year they played their first ODIs, after playing in the 1996 Cricket World Cup. Ahmed Raza is the current captain and Dougie Brown is the current Coach of the Team.
